Experience Klost’r
You can find Restaurant Klost’r in a fashionably renovated farmhouse located in Vlijtingen, a sub-municipality of Riemst. Klost’r is managed by three young and passionate gastronomy experts: Chef Marco Veraldi (35 years old), Sous-Chef Chiem Roijen (29 years old) and Host/Sommelier Lennert Holsteens (27 years old).
Marco acquired his expertise in Slagmolen, Hertog Jan, Inesto, Le Palmier and Auberge du Pêcheur; Chiem attained his broad knowledge at Ralf Berendsen, Hof van Cleve, Lindehof and Rantrée, while Lennert gained experience at La Fontanella, ’t Russelt by Jarne, Kwizien, Modest and Taratata.
“Our goal is to offer contemporary cuisine in a modern jacket with a hospitable service in an enjoyable setting. We combine the delicate French kitchen with a hint of an Italian palate, all the while respecting the local terroir and produce. Our dishes are linked to a bold wine and food pairing. Our wine card lists about 100 references from 15 different countries across the continent”, they say.
