Located in a stylishly restored square farmhouse in Riemst-Vlijtingen, Restaurant Klost’r is run by chef Marco Veraldi and maître/sommelier Kristof Mouha.
Marco earned his stripes at Slagmolen, Hertog Jan, Inesto, Le Palmier and Auberge du Pêcheur and, as co-shareholder, is responsible for the day-to-day operations.
Restaurant Klost’r represents gastronomic cuisine in a modern setting with welcoming service in a nice setting with also an extensive covered terrace for summer service. It is a combination of French cuisine with a slight Italian touch but with consciously predominant use of local products. Local for us means Belgian- and Dutch-Limburg and by extension the entire Euregio. The dishes are linked to a daring wine/food pairing. To this end, we have a wine list with +/- 100 references, 25% of which are local. Klost’r aims at a broad public from the Euregion, both locals and occasional visitors/guests.
